The Old Rectory provided a tranquil escape with a lovely garden view and was just a stone's throw from cycling trails in the forest. Standard amenities included a TV and kettle, which added extra comfort during the stay. A minor drawback was hearing some morning singing during breakfast.

Catherine was an amazing host and helped us with local attractions. The breakfast was a standout with fresh fruit and homemade marmalade, perfect for our family. Our room was cozy and well-equipped.

For dads, it would be great to have a play area for kids.

    homemade breakfast

It was just an appropriate option for a city trip in Ruthin with really good value. Enjoyed the fresh fruit at breakfast, a good start to the day. Be careful on the narrow roads leading to the place.

    Comfort and hospitality in nature!

The room was super clean and super comfy. Catherine was super helpful and gave us great tips about the area. The breakfast was a treat, especially the fresh fruit! Just wish the wi-fi was a bit stronger for my work calls, but it was a minor hiccup in an amazing visit.
